INITIAL
MEETING
The design process begins with John visiting your garden and taking time to get to know you better. This is a really important stage as this is where all of the ideas will be generated and how the garden will be used. An idea of budget will also be discussed here.

SITE
SURVEY
John will return to view your garden and record a detailed inspection and measurements of the space in its existing form. For particularly large or complex gardens, the services of a land surveyor will be required.

OUTLINE
DESIGN
From the recorded information at site survey, John will create a proposed plan for your new garden and see how the spaces work for you. The proposed plan will be accompanied by mood boards, 3D perspectives and section elevations which will all create clear visuals of the proposals. It is important to really take the time in understanding the proposals at this stage as this is where edits or changes to the design can be made easily.

DETAILED
DESIGN
Once you are happy with the outline design, all of the important details will now be added. Scaled working drawings will be made which will allow the construction of your new garden by your chosen landscaper. All working drawings and final design drawing will be presented at this stage ready for submission to your chosen landscaper.

PLANTING
DESIGN
The final stage will be to create a detailed plan for planting. This will include all of the precise locations and quantities for each plant. These drawings will be provided in full scale and be accompanied with a detailed record which can simply be provided to nurseries for ordering, making the whole process very simple.
